Get to Know Troy E. Walton

Mr. Walton has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a 2000 graduate of the St. Louis University School of Law where he graduated cum laude.

After law school, Mr. Walton began handling real estate and construction cases for insurance companies and large corporations. This work ended after only a year when he left the corporate world behind to accept a position with legendary plaintiff’s personal injury attorney, Rex Carr.

While working alongside Mr. Carr, he gained extensive experience handling cases involving serious personal injury and wrongful death. After only two years, he was named partner at The Rex Carr Law Firm.

In 2007, Mr. Walton was inducted into the Million Dollar Advocate’s Forum, an organization whose members include many of the top trial lawyers in the country and is reserved for only 1% of all trial attorneys nationwide. He has also been rated by Super Lawyers and is a member of The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers.

In January 2009, he formed Walton Telken, LLC where he continues to focus his practice exclusively on plaintiff’s personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, and mass tort claims including mesothelioma and asbestos lung cancer cases.
